DESCRIPTION        
Client; Pharmaceutical manufacturer of medicines, vaccines, and animal health products based in Holland.

Scope; In total there are 10 serialisation systems that need to be upgraded to new versions (new software and upgrade from XP to windows 7). 5 upgrades have now been completed. Our client is looking for an automation engineer for the other 5 systems that can coordinate the projects (maintain contact with supplier …………… and the implementing engineers) and contribute to the testing of the software. It concerns the software of the serialisation equipment and the IT infrastructure that hangs above it and the software then communicates with SAP. Experience with Serialisation is highly desirable. 

Experience in Siemens (S7), Systech Track & Trace, Systech Vision system packages. Customer facing experience.

As an Automation Engineer you are the driving force behind the versatile and challenging Serialisation project within various IPT (production departments). You are responsible for (new) installation, optimisation and continuous improvement of the automation platform for Serialisation (Systech Track and Trace and Vision software) What is Serialisation? Serialisation is the assignment of a unique serial number per dispensing unit. This should make it possible to check the product for authenticity when it is delivered to the patient. This unique number, contained in a 2D barcode, must eventually be traceable throughout the entire chain (from producer to patient) via a centrally regulated database.

• You configure and test automation systems and software.

• You draw up functional and technical documentation and keep it up-to-date

• You perform trend analyses for malfunctions and disruptions and initiate improvement proposals.

• You keep a close eye on the latest technological developments in your field, and especially in the field of Serialisation
